Banners and tee signs should be delivered to and picked up on the day of the event. CLGC will not be responsible for banners and markers left behind. Names of players are required three (3) days before your outing. The Golf Staff will help you select the best format for your event. Our full service golf shop can help personalize your outing with your company's logo on an assortment of soft and hard goods available to us from many manufacturers. Your items will be shipped directly to the club eliminating the middle man. Please call the shop with any questions about prizes and prices and you'll find us very competitive. The Planning ProcessMany large groups who booked with us our first year have rebooked and did so one year in advance. Some tips for booking follow:
Policies and ProceduresBy sticking to a set of rules your event will be stress free and as much fun as you want it. Reservation procedures require a deposit of $250 for groups with 72 or less players. And larger groups must make a $500 deposit along with a signed contract to secure their date. The deposit will be used toward the sum of your total bill and will be subject to the cancellation clause on the first page of the contract. Your final count and payment are due one week prior to the date of our event. By settling your account you can relax and enjoy the day. We will try to accommodate changes in the number of participants in your group but it is not always possible after the deadline because of other events and play that mlay have been scheduled for the same day. The Big DayCoordinators and volunteers should arrive one hour prior to your scheduled start. Notifying participants that the start time is one-half hour earlier than the start will ensure that everyone has enough time to register and get to their carts. Your group will then be greeted by a member of the Golf Staff to briefly describe the format and point out special events of the day. Carts will be supplied with score cards and rule sheets that can be prepared by our staff. CLGC Starters and Rangers will lead foursomes to their respective tees. Inclement WeatherIf the golf course is officially closed due to bad weather every attempt will be made to reschedule your event. We are in New England and because conditions vary locally guests should be asked to show up at the golf course. If the event can be played in moderate conditions with the utmost safety, it will be played. It is difficult to reschedule an event when food service is involved. ln the case of the course being deemed unplayable every effort will be made to reschedule your event.
