Booking Events for the 2018 Season
Allow Crystal Lake Golf Club to be the host for your next Corporate, Fundraising or Tournament Event. Our outing packages are done with your goals in mind. There are many choices to consider including beautiful venues and great menu items.
Starting and Meal Times
Shotgun events are available for groups of 40 or more players. All other groups will be restricted to tee times based on availability. Player registration and pre-game meals will begin one hour before tee times. Meals and appetizers will be served 20 minutes after the last group is in.
Pace of Play
Pace of Play is important to us for two reasons. Finishing in less than five hours eliminates any problems with golfers following your outing and secondly it makes for a more enjoyable day for your guests. Please play ready golf.
Crystal Lake Golf Club reserves the right to inspect and control all functions. Payment for any damages done to the golf course property or golf carts will be the responsibility of the sponsoring group and/or the coordinator of the event. CLGC will not be responsible for personal belongings or equipment brought on to the property. All players shall conduct themselves in a responsible manner consistent with golf etiquette and should treat club property with respect.
Golf Cart Rules
Golf Carts are mandatory for all outings and all operators must have a valid driver's license from their home state. Non-players are not allowed to operate carts unless permitted by a representative of the club. CLGC will not be responsible for any personal or property damage caused by a member of your group.
Soft Spikes and proper golf attire is required at all times. Cutoffs, tank tops, short shorts, jeans or shirts without collars will not be permitted. The offender will be asked to change or leave the property. It is the responsibility of group leaders to inform the players of our rules.
Food and Beverage
The only food and beverages allowed are those purchased at CLGC. No coolers are allowed on the course or in the parking area. On course food and beverages will be provided during your event.
Each participant should have their own set of clubs, sharing sets of clubs is not allowed. Contact the pro shop for the availability of rental sets.

Our Professional Golf Staff will take care of all golf related services including bag valet service, golf cart setup, printed scorecards, professional scoring, and proximity markers for special events. The Planning Process
Many large groups who booked with us our first year have rebooked and did so one year in advance. Some tips for booking follow:
Confirm your date with a deposit and signed contract as soon as possible.
Once confirmed begin filling your field with participants.
Order any special merchandise three to four months in advance.
Choose menu and venue at least six weeks in advance.
Send in completed worksheet and finalize menu one month prior.
Final list of players should be submitted so invoice can be processed.
Make final payment one week in advance.
Policies and Procedures
By sticking to a set of rules your event will be stress free and as much fun as you want it.
Reservation procedures require a deposit of $250 for groups with 72 or less players. And larger groups must make a $500 deposit along with a signed contract to secure their date. The deposit will be used toward the sum of your total bill and will be subject to the cancellation clause on the first page of the contract. Your final count and payment are due one week prior to the date of our event. By settling your account you can relax and enjoy the day. We will try to accommodate changes in the number of participants in your group but it is not always possible after the deadline because of other events and play that mlay have been scheduled for the same day.
The Big Day
Coordinators and volunteers should arrive one hour prior to your scheduled start. Notifying participants that the start time is one-half hour earlier than the start will ensure that everyone has enough time to register and get to their carts. Your group will then be greeted by a member of the Golf Staff to briefly describe the format and point out special events of the day. Carts will be supplied with score cards and rule sheets that can be prepared by our staff. CLGC Starters and Rangers will lead foursomes to their respective tees.
If the golf course is officially closed due to bad weather every attempt will be made to reschedule your event. We are in New England and because conditions vary locally guests should be asked to show up at the golf course. If the event can be played in moderate conditions with the utmost safety, it will be played. It is difficult to reschedule an event when food service is involved. ln the case of the course being deemed unplayable every effort will be made to reschedule your event.
